The Dunlap Eagles Girls Soccer Team soared into Galesburg to meet the Silver Streaks in the title match of the Galesburg IHSA 2A regional soccer playoffs Friday evening.  Galesburg was on its heels throughout most of the game, due in part to the Eagles’ ball movement, dominant size and speed. Galesburg’s coach Janelle Dodge may have been silently hoping for a lightning shorten game after the aggressive Eagles led 3-0 at the half, but she did her best to keep the girls focused and motivated going into the second half of play. However, the Eagles countered whenever the Streaks tried to implement their coach’s game plans for their comeback in the final 40 minutes.
